I remember seeing a comic that showed a woman coming out of the bathroom with a mop, saying to her hubby, "If you have no trouble hitting the bullseye at 100 yards at the range, why can't you hit the target in here?"

Being female, I laughed about it too, until I was "pointedly" reminded of the fact that the male anatomy does not come equipped with sights! LOL...

Poor kitties... hope your wife has some sympathy for them.

IMO, whether you have pets in the room or not, it would be better to get rid of carpeting anyhow, and go with hardwood or other hard-surface floors and rugs that can be washed or cleaned. Carpeting, IMO, harbors way too much dust, no matter how often you sweep it. I find that carpeted floors in public places tend to do very bad things to my asthma.

Tree, That's funny. Neither of our boys like getting the slightest bit wet.

Though Low Rider does rush to the fridge every time I get ice for my glass so he can bat around any cube that I drop. But as soon as it melts enough for his paw to get wet it's GAME OVER and he'll sit there shaking and licking his paw dry.

I am so glad that I found your site. You are hysterical! I can totally relate to the sleeping part of your article. We are cat lovers ourselves. "Princeton" aka "fur face", is our beloved cat. Here in Santa Barbara, CA the weather is so nice that we just let him go outside so we don't end up with 'little' surprises in the house.

Fur face uses the great outdoors even in the rain. He doesn't mind as long as I have a nice warm towel waiting for him when he returns...

[...] My first thought was that Fat Boy had another episode. Every once in a while something follows him out of the litter pan and gets randomly deposited around the house. It’s kind of embarrassing for him really and we don’t talk about it much. But he’s had his issues in the past so my mind immediately went there. The math made sense.
Ah, the good news is that Low Rider seems to be a Daylight Savings cat and is sleeping until the alarm now. Well at least until we move the clocks back at the end of the summer, that is.

And Fat Boy is aiming better again. Gorgeous, ever the Cat Whisperer got it all worked out. :)

[...] Now before you get to the good stuff, we need to make sure you’ve all met Fat Boy & Low Rider. And they seem to be aiming better these days, by the way. Gorgeous (a.k.a. the Cat Whisperer) was right about that one. Thanks for the prayers. [...]
