After all, it's not really about us anyway, right? By the way, "Rudy" is from my hometown, Joliet, Ill. My dad used to work with one of his brothers. Inspiring guy. The fact that it really happened gives his accomplishment a bit more value. You're right, though. Forest showed humility throughout the story. He was just an ordinary man living the life that he was given, in it's fullness. His focus remained on the truly important things in the world instead of individual accomplishments It's was always used to bug me about the movie "Rudy" (which everyone seems to love).
