Just because something is against the law doesn't nessisarily mean it is "wrong" and just because a thing may be OK with the law doesn't always mean it is right either. I'm not quite sure what you are getting at with your second point. I didn't mean to get into the whole survailance subject with the post. I just meant regular dealings with law enforcement. Just because something is against the law doesn’t nessisarily mean it is “wrong” and just because a thing may be OK with the law doesn’t always mean it is right either.
